LEGO Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

On October 11, LEGO announced a new line of toys to be made. Want to guess what it is? No, it's no Chima I'm talking about. It's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Istn't that so weird? :P It's TMNT! I didn't even know (until I looked it up 3 seconds ago) that Nickelodeon was doing anything with TMNT anymore! I know this post isn't too relevant to the actual information provided by LEGO, but I may as well do a post about it. :P

First of all, why?

Why, LEGO, would you do a set off some random TV Show when you could be making original themes such as keeping Ninjago and making your own TV show that was more popular than LEGO TMNT will ever be?!

Second, STUDS?!?!?!

Look at this. The Ninja Turtles don't even have studs on their heads! That is bad for LEGO. All the other themes have studs on their heads. I mean, Bring back the studs! It's like the time LEGO turned all the Star Wars characters white instead of yellow! Is this becoming a fad for LEGO? To make sets from licensed themes and remove all LEGO elements all together?

And another thing.

Who watches Nick anyway? I'd rather buy The Hobbit sets than TMNT...

This is all for my rant on the LEGO Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

  1. THE ONLY REASON, i would buy a lego TMNT set, is for the pieces. it would have nothing to do with me liking the set.

I think they need to stop making this kind of stuff.
(I also am thinking "No studs?")

    1. Yea, I wouldn't buy it, unless it was pretty cheap and it had a rare piece. :P I don't consider the turtle heads to be rare either. :P

    2. I agree.
The heads sure are not "rare"
