The Legend Of The Beastie Bricks

“Now, Where does my story begin,” said Skee Daddle to his young children, “Oh, yes. At the beginning, when I was an awesome teenager… One day, in uh, 2005, or ’06…anyway, I was a teenager and I had a passion for music.

My friends also liked music. They were all rocking, and rolling, and playing music for the whole high school. Oh, and did I mention that they got paid for it? Well, that’s right. They got paid for it. Not only did they charge admission for people to go into the corridors of the school, they ALSO got tips from all of the people! Now, I was a math nerd. Yup! That’s me! A nerd. ‘Was all into school and math and all of my studies. I was not cool like all of the musicians, but I still loved music. So that’s when I hit the books.”

“Hitting the books, like studying?” Said One child named Suzy.

“No, Suzy, I hit the books, and in literally HITTING the books…like with a hammer. Yup, I quit school and joined a music club,” said Skee.

“Can I stop school for my passion?” Asked Jimmy.

“What’s your passion, son?”

“Uhhh...Video Games!”

“No. I don’t recommend quitting school for ANYTHING.”

“Why is that, dad?”

“I’ll tell you. Let me get on with my story: In my later college years, (When I knew how to play the drums and dance), I got together with some friends and formed a band. I was the drummer,

BoomBlox Bobby was the strummer,

And Sally Walker was lead singer.

We were the best band. We played music, earned so much coins in tips, we didn’t even charge admission! We finally had our first concert. It was a smash! We printed flyers,

Made posters, and advertised our concert. It was a hit! The Beastie Blocks were fantastic. We were a popular band for a while. Then, it was graduation time. Sally Walker graduated. BoomBlox Bobby graduated. But I didn’t graduate. I was a nerd long enough to graduate high school, and I thought I knew enough to get through college, but I knew nothing. I only knew music. Sally and Bobby went to music college and I, Skee Daddle, was alone. That’s when the band split. I was walking around, all sad-like, when I walked right into an area named ‘Red Blocks’. I saw people like DJ Studd,

Kant Dance,

and Johnny Thunder.

There were also instruments sitting up on platforms, waiting to be built! It was a music-lover’s paradise! So that’s where I stayed: In Red Blocks. And that’s where you’re standing now, children!” Said Skee. He then looked around. He did not see his children.

“They’ve been abducted by the Maelstrom!” Yelled Skee. Then, he heard a voice:

“No we haven’t!”

“Wait, what? Who said that?” He looked around and saw somebody playing the bass guitar.

“It’s me, Jimmy!”

“Ha ha,” said Skee Daddle, “I’m glad you have a passion for music!”

 THE END!
